Our goal at NCF is to be a family (or families) of missionary servants, disciples of Jesus that make other disciples. In other words, we want to grow in our faith while helping others grow as well. We want to share our faith and see others come to faith in Jesus. We want to exercise our faith by using the gifts and resources God has given us to serve others. And we want to do all of this in relationship with God and each other.
One of the primary ways we are working towards this is through missional families. To be a part of a missional family starts with a weekly commitment to grow, learn and laugh together, but it cultivates a change in lifestyle and mindset. It is a commitment to God, each other and the gospel, and we can’t think of a better way to live!
We invite you to attend our informational luncheon on Sunday, March 31st to learn more; at the lunch you will get a quick overview of missional families and have a chance to ask questions.
Ps – if you are just looking to get plugged into a Bible study at this time, please let Mike Biolsi know as some new study groups are starting to form.
Beginning in March and continuing through the end of the school year, we will have ONE group for grades 6-10. Those in grades 11-12 will be encouraged to attend a Bible study or become part of a Missional Family with the rest of the adults.
The youth group will meet the 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month at the home of Jason & Sabrina Allen in Great Bend. Jason and Sabrina have offered several times to host, and we are excited to take them up on it. Group will run from 6-8:30pm. We realize some will not be able to make it until closer to 6:30 due to sports so the first 30 minutes will be planned accordingly.
