Join Us Virtually!

Posted On March 21st, 2020 | 6:06pm EDT

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, our Sunday gathering will meet virtually via Zoom! You can join by computer, smartphone or call in, but you cannot come in person - we won't be at the building.

We will be using the Zoom platform to stream live each Sunday at 11am, and a recording should be available later as usual.

Here are a few things you should know:

  1. If you do not have Zoom installed, you will be prompted to download and run the app or browser extension. You DO NOT need a Zoom account!
  2. You will need to join with audio to hear and video to see Mike & David, but your own webcam (if applicable) and microphone will be turned off by default for the duration of the meeting.
  3. You may participate in the discussion after the message via audio and/or video. We hope this will allow us all to connect even though we cannot be together in person. That said, we understand some may not be comfortable joining a public live meeting online, and nobody will be forced to share their audio or video at any time.
  4. If you join the meeting early, you will be in a virtual waiting room.  Once Mike and David are all set up, they will admit everyone to the meeting.  If you are joining from a phone, you will be prompted to begin the audio for the call.  Choose the “call using internet audio” option.

We are looking forward to trying this out with you, because technology always works perfectly and never gives us any issues and hope you will be patient with us as we work out any kinks or logistical challenges.

If you have any concerns or questions about being able to participate, PLEASE let us know, so we can help!
