The past couple of weeks have been awesome! It is so great to reconnect with people on Sunday mornings again.
Last Sunday was packed, and this Sunday we will have more chairs set up—more like it used to be.
We thank God for carrying us through the last 15 months of COVID and truly consider ourselves blessed.
This summer will be our chance to regroup and work towards rebuilding what has been missing during isolation: relationships. We look forward to hugs, handshakes, meals, bonfires, Bible studies and more. It will take us a while to get back into the routine of doing life together, but we are very much looking forward to it.
We will also be working towards having programs for the kids ready for fall. We do not generally offer kids programs during the summer, because things like block leave and vacations make it difficult to have enough teachers. We know you are excited to have these ministries back—and so are we!
Lastly, as we get back to full throttle, we will need everyone to be praying about how God might want them to serve others inside the church as well as in our communities. Pray that God will show you at least one way to serve in each area and then let one of the elders know so we can help you get plugged in.
Thank you for your endurance during the events of the past year as well as your patience as we work towards the future. We look forward to the journey ahead.
