Membership Covenant

Please read through, acknowledge and submit this form.

We commit therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge and holiness; to promote it's spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry and expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.

We commit to champion unity, remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, and always ready to seek reconciliation, mindful of the pattern established by our Savior.

We commit to make the mission of God our highest priority by applying the gospel to our lives, sharing the good news with those who have not heard, and living our lives as an expression of the gospel—sacrificing our comfort for the sake of others and loving others regardless of reciprocation. We will strive to walk uprightly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our responsibilities, and exemplary in our behavior, and to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior.

We further commit that, if we move from this area, we will unite as soon as possible with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's Word.

Statement of Intent

Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior and having been baptized in water, and being in agreement with North Country Fellowship Church’s purpose, beliefs, values, strategy, and structure, I now feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with the North Country Fellowship Church family. In doing so, I commit myself to God and to the other members to do the following:

1. Serving

  • I commit to serving God through obedience to his Word
  • I commit to serving others both inside the church and those that do not yet know Jesus

2. Investing

  • I commit to financially supporting this local church
  • I commit to using my resources to bless others in the church and in the community

3. Growing

  • I commit to studying God’s Word
  • I commit to submitting to the Spirit’s direction and conviction in my life
  • I commit to giving on a regular basis, trusting God with my finances

4. Networking

  • I commit to the corporate meeting of the church body
  • I commit to being accountable to my brothers and sisters in Christ
  • I commit to developing relationships with those that do not yet know Jesus

5. Sharing

  • I commit to living my life in a way that my actions point people to Jesus
  • I commit to telling others about what Jesus has done for me
